We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer. Please send privacy questions directly to us.
The apps store on your device: game progress (e.g. solved levels, stars, best times), statistics, games in progress, settings (sound, vibration, language etc.) and whether “Remove ads” was purchased. This data does not leave your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. You can reset your progress in the app’s options at any time.
To fund the apps, we occasionally show full-screen ads between two games. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google may process in particular: the device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (e.g. model, operating system, language), approximate location derived from the IP address and interactions with ads.
On first launch, a consent dialog by Google (User Messaging Platform) asks whether Google may show personalised ads and use data for that purpose. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). Without consent, non-personalised ads may be shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app’s options under “Privacy settings”, and reset or delete the advertising ID in your Android settings.
Google may transfer data to countries outside the EU (in particular the USA); Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google Privacy Policy.
After purchasing “Remove ads”, no more ads are loaded.
The one-time “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Google Play (Google Ireland Limited) or the Apple App Store. You enter payment details only with them; we only receive the information that the purchase was made, so that ads can be switched off. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Apart from the advertising described above, the apps use no analytics or tracking services, do not access contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location, and require no registration.
The apps are not specifically directed at children under 13.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and to withdraw any consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). Since we do not store any personal data about you ourselves, please also contact Google directly regarding data processed for advertising. We are happy to answer questions at office@sh-coding.at.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at). We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
We update this policy when the apps or legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
